This week on Ultimate Fighter Team Rashad continues to dominate Team Rampage in the octagon, as things heat up in the house and Matt Mitrione nurses a shoulder injury.
Team Rashad came out on top once again with the victory this week on the Ultimate Fighter, while Team Rampage continues to show their lack of coaching skills. TUF 10 – Week 5 RecapMatt Mitrione seem to be the pebble in the shoe for Team Evans, Mitrione started off week 5 by telling Rashad he needed cortisone shot for his shoulder injury, Evans let him that while cortisone helps in the now in the long run it doesn’t pay off. The focus of Team Rampage this weeks shifts from main attraction of the last four episodes Kimbo Slice and focuses on Zak Jensen, who is only a big guy that has wrestling, according to Rampage. Jensen is singled out in this week’s episode, by this teammates and coaches. In training Jensen repeatedly insists the he can’t during the team practice which annoys Rampage, while fellow Team Rampage fighter Scott Junk calls him a turd and says he hasn’t lived up to any of the bragging he did when the competition first started. Back in the house fans learn a little more about Jensen, when Wes Sims confronted him by pool side, appalled by what he found in the shower after Jensen had used it, accusing Jensen of jerking Mr. Happy, which Jensen denied before retreating to his room for the rest of the night. At the Team Evans practice Mitrione asks to leave after grappling to ice his shoulder, which seemed to be doing well enough for him to shoot hoops, which led his teammates to believe he is only using his shoulder injury as an excuse to face easier opponents. At the fight announcement Team Evans announces the fight for week 5. Justin Wren (team Evans) vs. Wes Sims (team Rampage) At the weigh-ins Wren showed up in a purple leopard print shorts while Sims opted for bikini briefs. Justin Wren vs. Wes SimsWren tries to close the distance, as the fighters tangle on the cage before separating which allows Sims to land a leg kick. Wren gets Sims down and immediately locks in a triangle choke from side control. Within a few seconds Sims is asleep the refs steps in and calls an end to the fight. In what is beginning to look like the Team Rampage signature move Rampage and coaches leave cage side without bothering to check on Sims. However, this week Evans decides to confront Rampage about his lack of coaching and support for his teammates calling him selfish, and in a shocking one time only moment Rampage has nothing to say.
