The last two fights are announced and Team Rashad continues their winning streak.
At 7-0 Team Rashad is one fight away from a clean sweep on the Ultimate Fighter 10, Matt Wessel and Marcus Jones will either give Team Rashad their 8th straight win of the season or Team Rampage their first. TUF 10 – Week 7 RecapThe Ultimate Fighter started out this week giving fans a good chuckle. Rampage and Rashad had fun imitating each other, Rashad portrayed Rampage after his KO loss to Wanderlei Silva in their Pride Fighting Championships match and Rampage retaliated back giving Rashad a gimps of what he looked like after his KO loss the UFC lightheavy weight champion Lyoto Machida. However, as usual the jokes stopped being funny when the coaches got into each other faces and started bickering over who would be victorious when they met. At the fight announcement Rashad Evans chose the last bouts of the season before they move into the semi-finals, he puts together Matt Mitrione and Scott Junk and Mike Wessel and Marcus Jones for next week’s episode. With the matches being announced once again the two coaches start the drama and bicker back and forth. Upsetting both is opponent and his teammate after passing a note to Scott Junk, Matt Mitrione wrote to Junk that the reason he and Junk are fighting is because Mike Wessel was too afraid to face him (Junk). The fighters feel as though Junk will give Team Rampage the win they have been hoping for. John Madsen gets upset back at the house when Matt Mitrione drinks half of his orange juice, back in training the two are partnered for sparring, Mitrione losses it and unloads on Madsen, Rashad steps in and takes Mitrione out of the gym and lets him have it. For the rest of the episode Mitrione hangs low and stays away from the rest of the guys in the house, Wes Sims does his best to try and stir up Mitrione, he even dresses up as a Ninja and does a surprise attack on Mitrione from the bushes and he played some hoop. Mitrione doesn’t bite. Scott Junk vs. Matt MitrioneMitrione takes it to Junk in the first round, unleashing on him, but lacks the ability to finish the fight, Mitrione knocks Junk down three times, and lets him get back up he doesn’t even attempt to finish the fight. As the first round wraps up Junk is able to score a few points with a few good shot to the face of Mitrione. The second round both trade shots, both are tired and can barely hold their hands up. Junk lands a take down but does nothing but try to catch his breath, the ref stands them back up, both fighters lazily trade shots to rounds end. UFC president Dana White announces the majority decision win to Matt Mitrione. Rampage is upset with the outcome and storms from cage side. On his way out he dismantles a door punching and kicking holes in it before ripping it right from the hinges.
