The winners are chosen for the lightweight and welterweight divisions of this season's Ultimate Fighter.

The lightweight fight is up first. Andre Winner and Ross Pearson are both from Team UK. They talk about training with each other in the past, both in the Ultimate Fighter house, and prior to the show.

Winner Vs Pearson

Round one begins with both fighters active, feeling each other out. They trade kicks and jabs. Pearson fakes a jab and lands a hard kick. The two tie up and Winner pushes to the fence. They knee and circle evenly.

Pearson hooks Winner’s leg, looking for the takedown. Knees and punches are traded in the clinch, with Winner landing more as the tie up goes on. Pearson tries tripping Winner to the mat again.

Pearson takes a low blow. The action restarts with a fast and furious exchange of combinations. Winner defends against Pearson’s third takedown attempt. They clinch and circle on the cage again.

Pearson lands uppercuts, Winner with a knee. Pearson returns two knees of his own. Winner hits some body shots and another knee.

Pearson Vs Winner Round Two

Winner feints but Pearson lands some kicks and punches and advances, driving Winner to the fence and clinching. They trade knees and circle along the cage. Pearson, looking for a takedown drives Winner straight across the Octagon.

Winner breaks out and connects with an uppercut. Pearson is on the fence and both fighters are busy in the clinch landing strikes and knees.

They break and move to centre where the action is all Pearson with combination punches, knees and kicks. Pearson goes for a takedown and Winner defends.

They go back to the fence. Pearson lands a knee, and an elbow. Winner gets in a combo at the horn.

Pearson Vs Winner Round Three

The two come out trading, but clinch and Pearson takes Winner to the cage. Pearson is landing punches and knees, keeping Winner pinned to the fence.

They break and head to the centre where they trade evenly, neither fighter seeming to gain an advantage on the other. Winner goes for a takedown but Pearson stays on his feet.

Winner pushes Pearson to the fence. Pearson lands some good body shots and an uppercut. Pearson is now pulling ahead as being the busier and more aggressive of the two.

Pearson with a single-leg takedown but Winner gets right back up. Pearson takes Winner back to the fence where they continue going back and forth.

They head to the centre again and throw some big uppercuts in the last few seconds of the round. Right at the horn Pearson lands an elbow that staggers Winners and opens him up under the eye.

The judges’ unanimous decision, 29-28, and winner of the lightweight contract, Ross Pearson.

Johnson Vs Wilks

Damarques Johnson and James Wilks are up for the welterweight division.

Both fighters come out throwing and both connect. Wilks sends Johnson to the fence and knees him. Johnson circles and breaks, taking the fight back to the centre of the Octagon.

They trade blows. Wilks puts together a combination and backs Johnson to the fence again where he lands some knees. Johnson punches and circles.

Wilks takes Johnson down, leaving the mount to stand and look for ground and pound. Wilks then goes back to the mat and looks for the heel hook.

Johnson breaks the submission but they remain tied up at the legs, as Johnson lands punches and elbows. Wilks grabs the leg again, while Johnson is striking.

Johnson gets free and gets full mount. Wilks is very busy on the bottom, looking for submissions. He locks in a triangle while elbowing Johnson’s head.

Johnson gets out, but Wilks still has hold of the arm. Johnson escapes again and turns, but Wilks now has his back. Johnson gets to his feet, but Wilks keeps his arms locked around Johnson’s waist.

Wilks takes down a now-bloody Johnson, still holding his waist. Wilks rolls and locks in a rear naked choke. Johnson manages to push Wilks’ arm off but Wilks sinks in a second choke. Johnson taps out with eight second left in the round.
